How we’re different

Dr. Hosking is a compassionate provider and makes treatment decisions based on the needs of each individual patient. He is conservative with diagnosis and treatment and will only recommend root canal therapy when necessary. Every effort is made to offer the least invasive treatment option, whether it is minimally-invasive endodontics, vital pulp therapy, or extraction if root canal therapy is not the best option.

Those who know him well understand that he dedicates time and effort to provide optimal care while keeping up to date on current technological advances. With his background in restorative dentistry prior to his focus on endodontics, he is keenly aware of the importance of providing restorative care when it is appropriate and agreed upon by the referring doctor. From a conservative access, to conservative root shapes, to post and/or core buildups and esthetic access closures, Dr. Hosking prides himself on performing endodontics that can be depended on to provide a solid base to the planned restorative care.

During a visit, he spends time to educate patients about their treatment options, the procedure and post-operative care to ensure their comfort and confidence in the care provided. Communication is key for a good patient-doctor relationship and Dr. Hosking makes himself readily available to referring doctors and sends post-operative reports in an efficient manner.
